Family Guy - Funny show

Great way to get a cheap laugh. It's a good, lighthearted show, and while original creativity might be lacking slightly, it's still very fun to watch. Many of the gags used on the show have become memorable in their own right.
South Park - Comedic genious

With Trey Parker and Matt Stone, you never know what to expect. They are able to take ridiculous situations and make them seem applicable to the real world.

If you haven't seen any episodes yet, I'll warn you that there's a bit of a "learning curve" - I didn't start enjoying the show until about watching about five random episodes. In my opinion, some really good ones are: Scott Tenorman Must Die, Margaritaville, Manbearpig, and The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers.
Avatar: The Last Airbender - Excellent show

It's a show that's great for any age demographic. The themes explored in the show go far beyond what you'd expect for just another Nickelodeon kid's cartoon.

The show is divided into three "books," each dealing with a section of Aang's quest to defeat the Fire Lord. I like the second book the best, followed by the third, and then the first, but all are very good.

The creators have now created a spinoff set 75 years later called The Legend of Korra. If you enjoyed Avatar, go check it out.
